Please note, for the purposes of professional licensure disclosure compliance, Oakland University determines student location at the time of application in accordance with the University Residency Classification policy. This policy can be found in the Undergraduate Catalog under "Residency Classification for Admission and Tuition Purposes."

Additionally, Oakland University may require additional screening measures on a student account to verify the identity of the individual and/or the validity of the information contained within the student's educational record. Students may be asked to meet in-person, remotely with a camera turned on, and/or to submit valid government-issued identification (and/or other documents) to resolve any potential conflicts or concerns of suspected fraudulent behavior.

Student records will be monitored for patterns of conflicting or suspicious activity and information will be reviewed within related departments at Oakland University, including but not limited to Undergraduate Admissions, the Graduate School, the Office of the Registrar, University Technology Services, Student Business Services, the Dean of Students Office and the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships.
