Town Hall meetings scheduled for October 4 to discuss Climate Survey results
On October 4, faculty, staff and students have a chance to attend an interactive Town Hall Meeting to discuss the findings of the 2017 OU Climate Survey.

This year, Oakland University students, faculty and staff were invited to take part in the 2017 OU Climate Survey in order to measure University-wide perceptions of diversity, inclusiveness, cooperation, respect, accessibility and support.

On Wednesday, October 4, the Survey Research Laboratory will host a series of interactive Town Hall meetings to present the survey's results, followed by question and answer sessions.

The full results of the survey, including answers to open-ended questions, are posted to the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion web section.

The meetings will be held at the following times and locations:

  • Faculty – 10 a.m. to noon in Oakland Center Banquet Room A
  • Staff – 1 to 3 p.m. in Oakland Center Banquet Room A
  • Students – 4 to 6 p.m. in Oakland Center Oakland Room

In addition to the Town Hall meetings, focus groups will be available to delve deeper into the survey's findings. Groups are limited to 25 people. If you are interested in attending, RSVP to the Office of Students Affairs & Diversity at [email protected] or call (248) 370-4200.

The 2017 Climate Survey is presented by the Office of the Senior Advisor to the President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Office of Inclusion, under the guidance of the Office of the President.
