 usic rebels rocked the world and invaded our hearts and souls with some of t
 he greatest songs ever written and performed. The invasion was led by the Be
 atles, whose first U.S. performances in 1964 influenced everything that came
  afterwards. The new, less innocent sound reflected the changing politics of
  a country disturbed by our involvement in Vietnam and increasingly inclined
