Cost

As the cost of on-campus housing continues to rise across the state, Oakland University remains committed to making the residential experience affordable for students.

Factor in the savings you'll see in transportation and gas, and free amenities such as laundry, parking and wireless internet, and living on campus may be the smartest financial decision for you.

Housing costs are billed through Student Financial Services, who also handles important payment and bill due dates.

Campus housing rates for the fall 2024-winter 2025 will be approved by the Oakland University Board of Trustees and updated on this site in June 2024.

Residence hall students must select a meal plan, which is included in the total cost for room and board.
