Office of the Registrar shares holiday spirit with student workers
Office of the Registrar student assistant Xavier Archie seems especially pleased with his OU holiday cookie. It was part of the goodie bag created for him and his fellow student workers by the office staff.

It’s good to be one of the 12 student assistants working in the Office of the Registrar around the holidays.

This year, the office staff created “goodie bags” to thank the students for helping out during the semester.

It was both a display of holiday cheer and a way to wish them good luck on their final exams.

“I want to acknowledge Yvonne Plentis, who spent time and energy to help coordinate the event and make it a success and recognize the staff who donated the goodies,” said Steve Shablin, University Registrar at Oakland University. “I know the students were appreciative and I think the staff enjoyed pulling the items together just as much. It was a nice end of the semester treat for everyone.”

All the staff-donated items listed below were wrapped up in the goodie bags and topped off with a Santa ornament.

The goodie bags consisted of:

  • Chocolate & Oat Granola Bars
  • Sweet & Salty Granola Bars
  • Justin's Nut Butter
