Are you ready to become a Clinical Nurse Leader?

This online program is designed for the working RN who is looking to advance their education in clinical expertise and leadership. Completion of this Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program prepares the nurse for the Clinical Nurse Leader certification.

The Clinical Nurse Leader or CNL® is prepared to practice across the continuum of care within any healthcare setting. CNL nurses are prepared to address the critical need to improve quality patient care. The CNL nurse practices at the point of care with a focus on:

  • Care Coordination
  • Outcomes Measurement
  • Transitions of Care
  • Interprofessional Communication & Team Leadership

CNL’s can practice across any continuum of care such as; inpatient, outpatient, community, long term care and hospice.

CNL’s are prepared with knowledge and skills that drive change at any level of care. The focus of the CNL role is to improve care, wherever care is provided. CNL’s are leaders demonstrating significant improvement in quality outcomes, patient satisfaction and financial improvement. They are a support to other healthcare providers and integral for the healthcare team and the success of healthcare systems.
