OUCARES Family Fun Day
Art projects, face paintings, bounce houses and the Michigan Science Center's StarLab are among the activities that will take place during OUCARES Family Fun Day on March 24.

To raise more awareness for those affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder, Oakland University Center for Autism Outreach Services (OUCARES) is hosting its 15th annual Family Fun Day from noon-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, at the Oakland University Recreation Center.

The event is free and open to individuals impacted by autism of all ages, as well as their families and friends.

During this event, attendees are encouraged to participate in fun activities such as art projects, face paintings, bounce houses and the Michigan Science Center's StarLab. Swimming is also available from noon-2 p.m. and guests are asked to bring their own towels.

Families can learn more information about available resources and meet with representatives from more than 20 autism-related organizations at a resource fair.

OUCARES strives to improve the quality of life for individuals impacted by autism, their families and the community through numerous recreational programs, camps and support services.

The event is free and open to all ages. For more information, contact the OUCARES office at (248) 370-2424 or oucares@oakland.edu.
