Every first Tuesday of the month, the Literature to Film Book Club meets to examine the interpretation of books to film and all the nuances in between. The event, hosted by Kresge Library, begins at 6 p.m. with a movie following a lively discussion in library room 225B. This year’s literature to film selections include:

  • Dec. 5, 2017 - A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith
  • Jan. 9, 2018 - A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman - (second Tuesday)
  • Feb. 6, 2018 - True Grit by Charles Portis
  • Mar. 6, 2018 - Wild by Cheryl Strayed
  • Apr. 3, 2018 - This Boy’s Life by Tobias Wolff
  • May 1, 2018 - The Homesman by Glendon Swarthout
  • Jun. 5, 2018 - Charlie Wilson’s War by George Crile
