The Oakland University community will gather in the Oakland Center Winter Garden at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17 for a remembrance event honoring faculty, staff, retirees and students who passed away during the past year. RSVP’s are requested.
Jon Margerum-Leys, dean of the School of Education and Human Services, will deliver welcome remarks, which will be followed by remarks from OU President Ora Hirsch Pescovitz. OU Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, James P. Lentini, will read the names of the deceased.
President Pescovitz will present a framed Certificate of Accomplishment for students and a Certificate of Remembrance for faculty, staff and retirees, to family members who are present.
The names of those whose lives will be celebrated are as follows:

- Queen E. Phillips, retired staff
