Tom Spring is currently the Vice President of Sales and Health Plans & Systems at Virgin Pulse. Formerly, Spring was the director of Wellness and Community Programs for the Health Alliance Plan of Michigan. His position had oversight of corporate wellness, community health promotion, as well as community relations and outreach initiatives serving members, employers and community partners. Previous to that role, Spring was a senior director of strategic accounts at WebMD Health Services with responsibility for internal and new business strategy focused on health systems’ health promotion programs. He also spent 12 years at Beaumont Hospital in corporate wellness, community health education, and clinical exercise physiology focused on non-invasive cardiology, rehabilitation, and metabolic health management. Spring has served elected and appointed positions as lead of the Michigan Society for Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab, several national committees with the ACSM and AACVPR (including AACVPR Fellowship), and currently serves on boards for the Michigan Wellness Council, Humble Design, Playworks of Michigan.
