Veterans Support Services

We Understand the Unique Needs of the Student Veteran

Veterans Support Services provides a supportive and welcoming environment to more than 250 veterans, service members and their dependents. Whether on active duty, in the reserves, or entitled to Vocational Rehabilitation services, we are dedicated to ensuring veterans achieve their academic and personal goals. The Veterans Support Services office also provides:

  • Information on using GI Bill® or other military service-related benefits
  • Information about VA work-study opportunities
  • Social and networking events for student veterans
  • Referrals to other campus, community and state resources to student veteran specific questions
  • Need Help in Michigan with food, housing, paying bills - Call 211 from any phone
  • Veteran Crisis Hotline - Text 838255/or call 1-800-273-8255
  • National Suicide and Crisis Hotline - Text 988
