Continued progress made in latest bargaining session

The bargaining teams for the OU and OU-AAUP met again July 18, continuing to discuss language proposals. The two sides made progress on several articles, including those on professional responsibilities and sabbaticals.  

The next bargaining session is set for July 23, where the two sides are expected to continue further discussions around the handful of remaining language items as well as their respective economic positions.

OU hopes that the parties will continue to narrow down the open items and looks forward to the union’s response to OU’s recent economic proposal in light of the financial presentation provided July 16.
