Communications Committee
The primary function of this committee is to convey information and communications from the AP Assembly Executive Board to the rest of APs on campus. This is achieved primarily through the use of the AP Assembly website and newsletter. Committee members disseminate information regarding upcoming meetings, professional development sessions, and events through an online newsletter. Interested in participating in this committee? Community Engagement Committee
This committee promotes community service opportunities, plans and organizes social and recreational events to enhance APs’ well-being, facilitates programming to educate APs on the surrounding community, and fosters connections between colleagues on campus. Nominations and Elections Committee
This committee, chaired by the President Elect, seeks nominations for, and administers the election to both the Executive Board and AP Members-at-Large. This is achieved through the use of the University elections website and the AP Assembly listserv. Interested in participating in this committee? Professional Development Committee
The purpose of this committee is to develop and deliver meaningful informational programs and workshops to APs. Each year a diversified series is offered related to OU employees' work environments or personal well-being. The committee collaborates with University Human Resources for advertising, registration, and evaluation. Recognition Committee
The intention of the Recognition Committee is to provide and celebrate recognition for all APs across campus in a variety of ways. Voice of the AP Committee
The purpose of this committee is to act as a sounding board and data gathering unit, getting the pulse of APs around campus. They work with the APs on senate committees to bring updates back to the group, as well as pass along any concerns from APs to those groups.
