How to Get Started
The Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies (BALS) is a small, but rapidly growing program at Oakland University. This means that you can expect small classes, one on one advising, and personal attention given to your unique circumstances. Schedule an advising appointment and learn how to create an interdisciplinary degree plan that is the best fit for your academic and career goals!
You can view the list of pre-approved minor-minor combinations that our students are already exploring or that are well suited for a variety of interdisciplinary careers. If the minor-minor combination you are interested in studying is not listed here that is not a problem. New minor-minor combinations are constantly being submitted and approved for study.
