Beth Talbert (M.A., Bowling Green State University) is a special instructor at Oakland University. She teaches Leadership, Organizational Communication and Women in Leadership. She is especially interested in the ways women both inhabit and experience leadership. In addition to teaching, Beth has served as the academic adviser for the Communication Program. Beth is the first honorary member to have been selected for the Oakland University Alumni Association. She is also a founding member of OU’s Women in Philanthropy initiative. Active in the Rochester community, Beth is serving as the Vice Chair of the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester and is a former trustee and president of the Rochester Community School’s Board of Education.
