Data on Habits and Behaviors
The American College Health Association (ACHA) designed the National College Health Assessment Web Survey (NCHA-Web) to assess student health behaviors in order to help colleges and universities provide better services and support for students. It is a nationally recognized research survey that assists universities in collecting precise data about students’ health habits, behaviors, and perceptions.
Graham Health Center conducted the survey in the spring of 2017 at Oakland University. Fifteen percent of full-time undergraduate students responded. Graham Health Center and other departments on campus use the data to compile a thorough needs assessment and prioritize work on behalf of students.
