GRASP offers basic gatekeeper training for anyone interested in learning to effectively address individuals who show signs of emotional or psychological stress or suicidal thoughts. The trainings will equip individuals to identify risk factors and signs of distress, to communicate with at-risk individuals and to encourage those individuals to seek help.

Student groups, faculty and staff members are welcome to request a training session.

Students who are studying the “helping” professions (social work, counseling, health sciences, nursing, education, etc.) are encouraged to consider participating as the training could be of professional benefit to them.

Request a training for your group.
