Engineering at BISTU in Beijing
Participate in a 6-week project in Beijing, China with Chinese professors and students during the Summer.
Will Be
Students will study abroad in Beijing, China at the Beijing Information Science and Technology University (BISTU).
Will Do
and learn
Students will participate in a project with Chinese professors and students. Four credits will transfer to Oakland University as a professional elective. Cultural tours include Beijing, The Great Wall of China and The Forbidden City. Students will perform a research project in a BISTU lab.
Bring
Pack for warm weather and classroom.
Open to School of Engineering and Computer Science students only. A transcript and one paragraph essay describing interest in the program is required. Financial Support is likely available for air travel, accommodations and sightseeing. Students can apply for $1,000 scholarship given by the SECS Dean. A 3.0 GPA is required for scholarships.
