Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Thematically

An overview of diversity, equity, and inclusion, thematically, with an operational, educational, and medical impact. By the end of this session, participants will have a better understanding of the phrase "diversity, equity, and inclusion, thematically" as it relates to day-to-day engagements, professionally or socially.

About the presenter:
Dr. Warren J. Glen has over fifteen years of experience in post-secondary education. His journey in higher education has led to his expertise in administering grants, managing deliverables, and mentoring and motivating young scholars. Currently, he is the area sponsor for the Ohio Department of Education community schools of northeast Ohio.

Dr. Glen previously oversaw the Northeast Region of Drop-Out recovery high schools for Oakmont Education. Prior to his current role, Dr. Glen was the Director of the Student Support Services TRiO Program at Cuyahoga Community College’s Eastern Campus, in Cleveland Ohio. He led his team in support of first generation college students in the areas of tutoring, college completion, cultural events, and transfer to four-year colleges and universities.

Dr. Glen is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Nu Chapter. He is a bow-tie expert and enjoys mentoring young African American males in the arts. A few of his volunteer efforts include mentoring scholars enrolled in the Black American Council and organizing the Books Brothers Engagement to Graduation Event which is a Black Male Initiative Program at Cuyahoga Community College.
