The Oakland University Police Department is accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys to help brighten the season for children and teens who will spend the holidays at Childrens Hospital of Michigan.
Donations can be brought to the OUPD station lobby by Friday, December 8, or to the President’s Holiday Reception from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6. OUPD elves will be at the north and south entrances of the Oakland Center hoping to fill patrol cars with toys.
Donors will receive a raffle ticket for amazing prizes to be distributed during the reception. A list of suggested toy donations can be found on the Children's Hospital of Michigan website or on Amazon.
