All Oakland University community members are invited to Great Lakes Crossing Outlets on Thursday, September 11, to enjoy a special night of entertainment, prizes, giveaways, store discounts, OU and GLC information tables, plenty of Golden Grizzlies spirit and more. The event comes just in time for back-to-school, fall and early holiday shoppers.
From 5-9 p.m., students, faculty, staff, alumni and Golden Grizzlies supporters in general can enjoy games including “Bear Pong,” a raffle, a prize wheel and few surprises. Attendees will be entertained by a D.J., a strolling magician, OU Dance and Cheer teams and more.
Both current and prospective students and their families can learn more about OU and the tremendous educational, career and life enrichment opportunities it offers, as numerous university department and student organization representatives will be on hand to share information and help spread OU pride and camaraderie.
Meanwhile, select Great Lakes Crossing Outlets stores will offer exclusive discounts to those who demonstrate their affiliation with Oakland University. All visitors are strongly encouraged bring their OU ID to take advantage of discounts and promotions and to come clad in their best Golden Grizzlies garb to possibly score giveaways.
Campus community members can also take advantage of free transportation to and from the mall starting at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bus stops will be located in the P-5 Parking lot next to Oak View Hall in in the circle drive in front of the OU Credit Union O'rena.
