A record number of new freshmen students from 2019 returned for a second year in fall 2020, resulting in a 79 percent first-year retention rate.
Students who return for a second year having earned 28 or more credits in their first year are considered ‘on-track’ to graduate. The percentage of first-year students retained after 2019 and on-track to graduate is the highest rate on record at 71 percent.
