The percentage of Michigan Public high school students that enroll in college within 6 months of graduation has been declining since 2015.

The chart above shows the total number of Michigan public high school graduates (black area) and the percentage enrolling in college (gold bars) since 2015. Subsequent graphs, visible by clicking on and dragging each chart to the left, show rates for public high schools in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties.

According to MI School Data, overall headcount has dropped by a few thousand students statewide. However, the college going rate has declined by more than 10% in the last 10 years.
