Colleagues,
It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of Distinguished Professor Emeritus Eleftherios Botsas, who passed away on October 2, 2021. Dr. Botsas joined the Oakland University community in the department of Economics and Management in 1956. He served as the Chair of the Department of Economics until his retirement in January of 2001.
