It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of Thomas “Tom” Ford, who passed away on July 20, 2023. Tom joined the Oakland University Athletics Department on January 4, 1988, where he served many students as the Head Athletic Trainer and the Director of Sports Medicine until his retirement on January 5, 2018.
A memorial visitation will take place at the Potere-Modetz Funeral Home, 339 Walnut Boulevard, Rochester, MI 48307 on Monday, July 24, from 3-8 p.m. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, July 25, at the Potere-Modetz Funeral Home starting at 11 a.m.
