It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of Professor Michael Polis, who passed away on March 21, 2024.
Professor Polis joined the Oakland University community in the School of Engineering and Computer Science’s Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering on August 15, 1993. He served there as a Professor of Engineering until his retirement on August 14, 2020.
