It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of Dr. Nalin Jayantilal Unakar, who passed away on July 17, 2024.
Dr. Unakar joined the Oakland University community in the Department of Biological Sciences, where he served as a professor until his retirement on August 14, 2000. Dr. Unaker also served as the department chair during his tenure.
