It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of Joan Love, who passed away on January 2, 2025.
Mrs. Love joined Oakland University on May 1, 2000, in the division of Student Affairs & Diversity, where she served as the Undergraduate Admissions Processing Coordinator and later as Assistant Director until her retirement on July 7, 2015.
Visitation for Mrs. Love will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, from noon to 8:00 at Modetz Funeral Home, located at 339 Walnut Boulevard, Rochester, Michigan, 48307, (248) 651-8137. A family hour will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025 with a homegoing celebration commencing at noon at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, located at 123 Wessen Street, Pontiac, Michigan 48342.
