Ronald Kevern - Division of Student Affairs

Colleagues,

It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of Ronald Kevern, who passed away on September 22, 2025. Ron joined Oakland University on August 19, 1968 as an Assistant Director of Alumni Relations. For the next 25 years he served as Assistant Director of Placement, Director of Placement, Assistant Dean for Student Services and Director of Career Advising. He also served as Assistant Provost and Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs until his retirement in June of 1993.
