The university mailroom has announced its 2023 holiday season schedule and important highlights are listed below.
- Holiday Recess: Mail Services and Central Receiving will be closed Friday, December 22, 2023, through Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Mail services will be open Friday, December 29, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for staff to pick up department mail. There will be no campus deliveries or pickups on December 29.
The last day that bulk mailings will be accepted is Monday, December 11, which will allow for processing and delivery to the U.S. Postal Service. Campus community members are advised that the USPS will process first-class mail and packages before bulk mailings and that bulk mailings should be submitted as soon as possible.
Campus community members are also advised that daily metering of first-class mail will continue. The above deadline applies only to bulk mailings, not daily first-class processing.
