The university mailroom has announced its 2024 holiday season schedule and important highlights are listed below.
Mail Services schedule
Holiday Recess: Closed December 23 – January 1 (Except for Tuesday, December 31, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. See below.)
The mail room will be open one day during the recess on Tuesday, December 31. There will be no campus deliveries on that day. The mail center will be open between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. for staff to pick up university mail.
Bulk Mail Deadline December 9: The last day we will accept a bulk mailing is Monday, December 9. We strongly recommend you submit your mailings as soon as possible or wait to submit after the Holiday recess, if possible. USPS prioritizes first class mail and packages during the holidays.
Special Note – daily mail metering will continue. This notice applies only to bulk mailings, not daily first class mail processing.
Central Receiving schedule
Holiday Recess: Closed December 23 – January 1
All packages scheduled for delivery during the recess will be held by the carriers until Central Receiving reopens on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
