P-16, 17 lots to be closed for OUWB commencement

The south half of the P-16 parking lot – located between O'Dowd Hall and Fitzgerald, Anibal and Pryale Houses – and the P-17 lot – located between the Central Heating Plant and the Athletics Center – will be closed in preparation for and during the 2024 OUWB School of Medicine Commencement Ceremony on Friday May, 10.

The closures will begin at 11 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, and will continue through Friday evening, May 10. Vehicles remaining in the lots after 11 p.m. on Thursday may be towed.

During the closure, handicap parking spaces in the P-18 parking lot – located immediately east of O’Dowd Hall – will remain open and accessible on a first-come, first-served basis.

Campus community members accustomed to using the P-16 and P-17 lots should plan ahead to use alternative lots. The patience and cooperation of campus community members is appreciated during major campus events.
