Oakland University will be closed effective at 5 a.m. and throughout the day on Wednesday, February 22, in response to forecasts for inclement weather and hazardous driving conditions.
During a university closure, all scheduled classes, regardless of modality, are canceled and all but essential university operations cease to take place. Any campus activities outside of classes are also canceled unless communicated otherwise.
Normal university operations are expected to resume as scheduled on Thursday, February 23. Campus community members can follow updates posted at oakland.edu.
The university appreciates the patience and cooperation of students, faculty and staff during severe weather events.
