Oakland University will cancel all in-person classes effective at 4:30 p.m. Friday, January 12 and all day Saturday, January 13, due to heavy snowfall. The university will remain open, however, and all other scheduled activities on campus will take place as planned unless communicated otherwise.
Students should look for communication from their instructors or inquire regarding whether online or hybrid classes will be conducted.
The decision to cancel late afternoon and evening classes is being made independently of any other weather-related declarations. Students, faculty and staff should watch for additional communications as weather conditions evolve.
The university appreciates the patience and cooperation of students, faculty and staff during severe weather events.
