Caregiver(s) Need Immediately

Seeking individuals who have experience working in the Direct Care Industry
The Successful Candidate(s) will work with My 18yr old Son with Autism. He is in need of companionship, a role model and someone to assist him in Independent living skills in the home and community. Rewarding position knowing you are teaching, guiding and providing  skills and tools for his success in his future endeavors. Easter Seals/MORC training is provided. 
Available shifts open are: Thursdays 3p-7p, Saturdays 4/5p - 9p, Sundays 1p - 9p (During the summer, weekday hours increase to 5 per day unless he is in camp))
Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities/Autism
Current & Valid Driver's license 
CPR Certified
Must have reliable transportation.
Caregiver's do assist in taking him out in the Community for outings. (such as: budget shopping, parks, movies, trampoline park, hiking, fishing, basketball courts, etc.) Be ready to have some energetic fun with him!
Mileage reimbursement is available.

CLS Staff Needed
Community Living Support staff needed for a young man living in Oakland Township. He is 26 years old and is diagnosed with down syndrome. He works part time however is in need of staffing support on his days off to keep him active. He enjoys playing basketball, watching movies, going for walks and would like help with tasks in the home such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.
The days and times he would prefer to have staff are as follow, however, these can be flexible::
Mondays: 9am-4pm
Tuesdays: 1pm-4pm
Wednesdays: 9am-4pm
Fridays: 9am-3pm
Rate of pay is $19.85 an hour. If you provide transportation to activities in the community, you will receive .63 cents per mile in reimbursement. You will need to be first aid certified and take a recipient rights training class, online, through Oakland County Community Mental Health.

Summer Help Needed
I am an EOR seeking a direct care worker to transport my son to and from a special needs summer camp and spend the day with him there as his 1:1 support person. We reside in Birmingham. The camp is also located in Oakland County. There is also an opportunity to assist beyond that if desired. Schedule: M-F 8:30-3:30 (approximately) between the months of June - August. Individual can continue to help in fall if interested. Child is 12 years old, on the autism spectrum, engaging, curious, attaches well to adults and functions best when on a consistent, structured and predictable routine. 
Worker must be at least 18 years old and have an interest in helping people who have special needs. Drivers license and reliable transportation a must. Summer Caregiver Needed
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide support and supervision for our 13-year-old twin boys with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The position entails caring for the boys for two days a week beginning June 2nd week and ensuring their safety and well-being. The boys are independent in their daily routines and have a variety of interests. They can engage themselves in various activities and play, but they benefit from occasional guidance and companionship to enhance their experiences. Seeking Engaging Social Companion
Location: West Bloomfield, MI (Maple Road and Orchard Lake Road)
Pay Rate: $22/hr
Seeking individuals who have a desire and passion for spending time with young adults with developmental challenges. We seek a social and activities companion for a young man (25) with autism who is living in West Bloomfield Township (Maple Road/Orchard Lake Road).  He works 2 days a month, but seeks a companion to enjoy social interaction (watching movies, playing video games, going for walks), attending local attractions (Detroit Zoo, The Henry Ford, Movie Theater, Comic Book Store) and participating in other local activities.  He has a passion for art and natural artistic ability, especially drawing dinosaurs, so your interest or ability to assist in developing his artistic skills is a plus (drawing, painting, mosaic, computer design, etc.)Dates and times are flexible. Seeking individuals who have experience teaching kids with various disabilities 

We are looking for a tutor to help our 7 y/o son a few hours a week at our home. He is nonspeaking (although has various ways he communicates, including an AAC), autistic, has epilepsy as well as a cognitive impairment. He is in many different outside therapies for speech, OT and PT, but we would love for him to have some 1:1 support with his IEP goals/independent living while he is on summer break :) He is very sweet, loving and can easily connect if given the opportunity through play. Autastic Athletics - Tennis Program
Groups are forming now in Oakland, Macomb, Wayne and Genesee counties: for autistic athletes, by autistic athletes! Our coach has over 15 years of experience working with his fellow autistic individuals, and is a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association! Autism Support Design 24-7
Individualized, designed programs for adults and teens on the Spectrum to learn skills to achieve the best adult outcomes, are available to the ASD Community. Our programs are designed by a parent/educator with an M.E. in Special Ed-Autism Endorsement, who has a proven track record in helping people on the Spectrum be the best they can be, and are implemented by her son, a life coach on the Spectrum.
