Ron Sandison -- Autism, Motivation & Depression:  Helping Individuals with Autism Become Motivated & Overcome Depression
Ron examines common obstacles to growth, decision-making, and independence, as well as strategies to overcome these barriers.  Ron shares his own personal struggle with depression and anxiety including how he was able to overcome them to become a successful father, author, professional, and motivational speaker.

Join OUCARES as Josh discusses what life is truly like through the eyes of someone who has autism.  An interactive learning experience that teaches people about the many aspects of autism mentally, emotionally, and physically. OUCARES Parent Networking Event - Escape Room
Join OUCARES at the Escape Room - Zone in Farmington for dinner, Escape Room experience and an opportnity to meet other parents of individuals with Autism.  Designed for parents or caregivers of children of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder to meet, socialize, network and enjoy a fun evening out.  Registration is required and space is limited. This program is generously supported by Autism Society Oakland County.

Talking about sex, teaching about sex, and making informed decisions about sex are difficult topics for parents and educators.  Please join us as we discuss: Who are Adolescents? Challenges in Puberty, Multi-Dimensional Changes, Issues of Gender and Adolescence, Young Girls and Menstruation, Young Boys and Body Changes, Sexuality.  This presentation is designed for parents, educators, and other professionals working with youth, specifically children 12 and under, on the Autism Spectrum.
