Improving listening skills is the first step in improving the overall personal communications. The three focuses for listening are Presence, One-at-a-Time, and providing Helpful Feedback. We’ll look at what these mean, how to apply them, and the benefits that can be reached.


Mr. Steve Czerniak retired after a successful career that culminated in fifteen years of experience as an internal consultant and “change agent.” He is currently an Expert-in-Residence at the Macomb-Oakland University Incubator and a volunteer with other clients. His personal volunteer objective in retirement is to “derive personal satisfaction from helping others, and the organizations they operate, to develop and prosper.”
