Alumni events grant Oakland University graduates the opportunity to celebrate the nostalgia of the past while reconnecting with peers.
“Our goal is to create events for alumni where all Golden Grizzlies feel welcomed and excited to be a part of what is happening at OU,” says Kristen Lemire, the new assistant director of alumni events and programs. “We hope to create meaningful experiences that help alumni build stronger relationships with their alma mater, and that’s something I am excited to be a part of.”
Lemire, a native of Clearwater, Florida, has a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology and a Master of Science degree in leadership. As part of the OUAA, she will help coordinate alumni engagement events, such as networking, reunions and Homecoming.
