Giving
Giving to the All-University Fund Drive (AUFD) underscores how monetary gifts from Oakland University employees and retirees can make a difference in the areas they hold most dear.
This year, the fund drive exceeded its target goal by 1.5 percent to raise $481,984.
Likewise, the fund exceeded its donor goal by 15.8 percent with a grand total of 926 donors, giving OU a major point of pride.
“While we beat both of our goals, the most impressive number to me is that we have 135 more donors than last year,” said director of Annual Giving Kelly Brault. 791 donors was last year's count. “That's a huge growth”
In appreciation of their contributions, donors are invited to a special celebratory ceremony on Thursday, February 16 at the university.
“This was our most successful year yet,” Brault added. “We owe that success to our dedicated donors and volunteers.”
