There are many reasons to get involved on campus — lifelong friendships, professional development and a chance to grow outside of the classroom, just to name a few. And as OU continues to grow, joining a fraternity or sorority can help make campus feel like a home away from home. It is not just the time on campus that makes a difference. “Being a part of a fraternity or sorority is a life-long commitment,” said Victoria Armenio, fraternity and sorority life assistant in the Office of Student Involvement. “And the opportunities and friendships can follow you beyond your years at Oakland University.”
