New event helps students prepare for fall semester
Rock and Enroll

Oakland University is excited to offer a new enrollment program, Rock and Enroll Day. The event will take place from 2-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4, in the Oakland Center on OU’s Rochester campus. 

It will provide a unique opportunity for the campus community to assist both new and returning undergraduate and graduate students with matters related to: 

  • Enrollment
  • Transcript submission
  • Transfer credits
  • Opportunity to receive COVID-19 vaccine
  • Vaccine record submission
  • Financial aid and FAFSA submission
  • Campus student employment
  • Campus and residence hall tours
  • Disability support services
  • Career services
  • Student bill payment, payment plans and setting up direct deposit
  • Student ID cards
  • New student orientation
  • Registration and adding/dropping classes
  • Housing contract submission
  • Residency status
  • Academic advising appointments
  • Campus organization involvement
  • Applying for graduation and more

There will be games, music and opportunities for students to win OU gear and supplies from the bookstore. To RSVP for the event, students should complete this Google form. 

“Rock and Enroll Day is for everyone,” said Dawn Aubry, vice president for enrollment management. “Whether you are a prospective student who needs to apply for admission, a newly admitted student who has questions about the enrollment process, a current student who would like to register for additional fall classes, or an OU student who stopped out of college and is ready to return and complete their degree, this program is for you. Our expert staff are ready to help ensure you are all set for the fall semester.”
