Oakland University’s School of Business Administration is one of the nation’s most outstanding business schools, according to The Princeton Review (TPR). The education services company chose the school for its 2022 list of Best Business Schools.
In addition to being named on the national 2022 Best Business Schools list, The Princeton Review also recognized the OU School of Business on its list of Best Business Schools in the Midwest and its list of Best Online MBA Programs.
"We recommend the Oakland University business school as an excellent choice for an aspiring MBA," said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review's Editor-in-Chief.
TPR selects schools for its annual lists based on student and administrator surveys. The 80-question student survey asks students about their school’s academics, student body and campus life, as well as about themselves and their career plans.
Franek added, "What makes our Best Business Schools list unique is that we factor in data from our surveys of students attending the schools about their campus and classroom experiences."
Based on the survey, Oakland University’s graduate business students shared:
“National recognition of our programs reinforces the high-quality education OU business students gain from expert faculty and top-notch curriculum,” said Michael A. Mazzeo, Ph.D., dean and professor of finance at OU’s School of Business Administration.
“Our MBA programs integrate theory, research and experience with solid academic preparation and practical skills that help our students enhance business knowledge, provide them with skills they can use on the job the next day as well as advance their organizations and careers in the long run,” Mazzeo said.
OU Executive MBA alumni Mark Gust agrees: “The essential part of Oakland’s Executive MBA is that it provides you with skills and knowledge you can put to work right away,” said Gust, managing director and founder, Industrial Automation. “We don’t have to be finished with the program to walk away with new concepts to apply to our work to benefit our clients.”
Ranked as one of the top global MBA programs by CEO Magazine and among the best part-time MBA programs by U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Programs, the OU School of Business is also consistently recognized as one of the “Best Values Colleges for Business Majors” in Michigan in PayScale’s College ROI Report.
New recognition from the independent educational organization University Headquarters also places the OU MBA program among the top 100 part-time MBA programs in the U.S. and lists Oakland University School of Business as one of the top 75 colleges for finance majors.
