Oakland University PACE is offering the Digital Marketing Pro Certificate in partnership with the Digital Marketing Institute. Students who complete the course and then pass the three-hour exam will receive a Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing from DMI and also the Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) award from the American Marketing Association.
“Digital Marketing is a field that is constantly evolving, and it’s important for practitioners to stay up to date on current trends and best practices,” Amy Olind, assistant director of OU PACE. “We are proud to be able to offer a course that is updated yearly based on input provided by DMI’s industry Advisory Council, which is composed of leading digital companies, including Google, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. We feel that this program will equip participants with a broad array of necessary knowledge and skills and will be helpful to new and experienced marketers alike.”
The Digital Marketing Certificate is a practical course designed to help students improve their knowledge of online digital marketing, strategy and measurement. Students gain cutting-edge digital marketing skills, including Google Ads (PPC), Analytics, Facebook Ads, content marketing, SEO and more. Facilitated by experts from the field and Oakland University faculty, the program will ensure students obtain the most up-to-date and relevant knowledge and skills.
The DMI Pro course focuses on the commercial aspect of online marketing. This course consists of approximately 30-hours of video-based course content in addition to a multitude of other resources and study materials. It’s delivered 100% online and on-demand, so students can learn at their own pace.
Who Should Take This Course?
The Digital Marketing Certificate program costs $1,350. This includes all digital marketing course materials and the examination fee (first attempt only). Students must complete the course in six months. Program cost also includes a one-year DMI Professional Membership to DMI.
