On Tuesday, September 13, please join President Ora Hirsch Pescovitz at “OU Forward,” a campus gathering to commemorate the beginning of the academic year. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Oakland Center, Founders Ballroom (second floor).

“It’s of paramount importance that we renew our community bonds, and realize what can achieve when we come together for a common purpose,” said President Pescovitz.

“OU Forward” is among events this fall that aim to foster a stronger sense of connection on campus after the past two-and-half years of pandemic-related restrictions.

This Friday, the president will host “OU Leadership Day: Reconnecting to OU’s Mission and Values.” The forum will be held with OU staff who went through the Leadership Academy. In addition to the president, participants will include cabinet members, deans and other leadership team members.

In addition, each month, President Pescovitz will meet with faculty and staff in small groups at venues around campus. The meetings, entitled, “Conversations,” will be informal discussions about the participants’ concerns, and ideas on how to enhance OU culture.

Register to attend the event here.
