Water main break closes Recreation Center

Current plans call for the building to be closed on Thursday, Dec. 13 to make necessary repairs and then reopen on Friday, Dec. 14.

Water main break closes Recreation Center
The Recreation Center and Aquatic Center covered in snow at Oakland University

Due to a water main break in the building, the Recreation Center and Aquatic Center will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 13. The current plan is to make needed repairs and reopen for operations on Friday, Dec. 14.

The Hillcrest Fitness Center is open from 11:30 a.m. - 8 p.m on Thursday, Dec. 13. Members of the Recreation Center have access to the Hillcrest Fitness Center with their GrizzCard, or Rec Center Key Fob.
