OU Credit Union Groundbreaking

I am so pleased to be here with you for the groundbreaking of the new Oakland University Credit Union regional building.
The ceremonial groundbreaking commemorates the next chapter in the successful partnership between OUCU and Oakland University… a partnership built on mutual trust, commitment and engagement.
There is, of course, also a practical side to the groundbreaking.
OUCU has outgrown its current space because of its successful management and the strong bond it maintains with our students, faculty, staff and alumni.
Your timely programs and service in support of our financial needs and ambitions are an important part of the Oakland University community…. and an essential part of our reputation as a diverse, equitable and inclusive learning community.
On behalf of Oakland University, I extend our gratitude to OU Credit Union for their years of service, and for the decision to build their regional office while remaining as close to us as possible without literally being on campus.
We appreciate that OUCU goes beyond providing financial services…
- They provide opportunities for our students when it comes to offering internships, jobs and education with their financial literacy programs.
