- Welcome to our annual Faculty Recognition event, an especially significant moment when we acknowledge and honor exceptional achievements of our faculty members.
- I am so grateful that we can take the time to gather and recognize the amazing work of our colleagues.
- These individuals are setting the standard of excellence at Oakland University.
- These individuals are role models for their commitment, passion and achievements.
- It is the work and leadership of these individuals that drive our university to continue to excel and always pursue excellence in teaching, research and scholarship, and community engagement.
- It is the work of these distinguished faculty members that is distinguishing Oakland
- Since March of 2020, we have invented a “virtual campus community.” We did what was necessary to make sure our campus was safe and healthy….but now, as we return to an in-person community, we are reminded of the deep personal connection and common purpose we shared.
- Please take a moment to appreciate the people of our campus community…
