Welcome to our annual Faculty Recognition event, an especially significant moment when we come together as a community to acknowledge and honor exceptional achievements of our faculty members.
It is the dedication and work of the faculty… that is at the heart of our continual growth and progress as a university….and we are so proud and appreciative of your work.
We are committed to communicate clearly and effectively to our talented faculty about the university’s goals, priorities, strategies and ways we can continue to work collaboratively and effectively to make Oakland a world-class university.
The key, of course, is for us to listen…
…to be open to faculty-driven change…
…to make sure we have policies and procedures in place that make it easier for you to do your vital teaching, research, scholarship and serve as models of an engaged and inspired faculty…
And of course, it is of paramount importance that each faculty member is recognized appropriately for their outstanding work.
