Scholarship Surprise on Good Morning America

Jazzmyn Loyd, a Detroit Edison Public School Academy student was surprised with a $40,000 scholarship on Good Morning America. The College Board Opportunity scholarship was created in 2018 by the College Board together with Khan Academy. This was the first year student reactions were livestreamed on GMA. Loyd plans to attend the University of Michigan and study Psychology.
