Employer: OU Veteran Job Board Expires: 07/12/2024 The office of Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin (MI07) is seeking motivated, detail-oriented interns to work in a fast-paced highly collaborative district office. Interns will be primarily responsible for managing the front office, answering phone calls and processing voicemails, greeting visitors, and staffing events and meetings, with specific responsibilities such as drafting congratulatory and thank you notes and other written correspondence as requested. The term of this internship will be from September 4, 2024 to December 18, 2024. Though the internship is largely remote, applicants must be able to occasionally work in the district, which includes, Clinton, Ingham, Livingston, and Shiawassee counties and parts of Eaton, Oakland, and Genesee counties. Ideal applicants will have a professional and positive attitude, problem-solving skills, proficiency with Excel and other programs, and a passion for public service.Interested applicants should follow the instructions available on Congresswoman Slotkin's website.
